KJRGL (Kajacrew), a joint boy band of Sony Music Japan and Sony Music Korea, opened operations in 2025.
On January 29, KJRGL released a new digital single, “GENERATION…CLOUD,” on various online music sites in Japan.
“GENERATION…CLOUD” is an extension of “the story until we find our voice again,” which was the concept of previous albums. It expresses KJRGL seeking dreams through the image of a whale soaring into the sky and swimming in the clouds.
In particular, the addictive guitar rhythms, synthesizers, and lyrics longing for a bright future stand out, and a music video that captures the concept of a space beyond the dimension is also released, attracting special attention from fans around the world.
In addition, the choreography of “Generation…cloud” was followed by the boy group BoyNextDoor and the dance team ChillLit, who is responsible for the choreography of many K-pop artists such as Riize, B.I., and NCT’s Taeyong, to complete a personalized performance by KJRGL.
In addition to “Generation…cloud“, the single also includes “Jigsaw mind“. The track is a mid-tempo song with a gentle atmosphere, conveying a different charm from the title, and you can feel the wide musical spectrum of KJRGL.
KJRGL, a boy group from Korea and Japan who made its official debut with “OVERTURE~the blue wave” in September last year, consists of three Koreans and three Japanese. In December, they held their first live promotion with Spotify O-WEST, and announced a successful start by filling the seats.
KJRGL is expected to be active in 2025, starting with “GENERATION…CLOUD“.
