YB will be releasing his new EP album “ODYSSEY” at 6 PM KST today and will begin his full-fledged activities.

“ODYSSEY” is YB’s new album which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. “We are starting a new journey. We are very excited to meet a new world with YB’s new music,” said the group YB, announcing the transition to a modern and hybrid metal genre.
YB plans to express the process of growing up to find themselves in a difficult experience in the future. YB, who has been loved for its popular and comfortable rock style with “흰수염고래,” “나는 나비,” and “사랑했나봐,” plans to collaborate with top metal experts at home and abroad to show experimental and challenging changes and develop a new future.
The title track “Orchid,” which reveals the identity of the new album, is a song that announces the deepening and change of internal conflicts, and lyrically translates the desire to be born as a new being through death. It features a long duration of about seven minutes.
In addition to this, YOON DO HYUN made another extension using the unique singing methods of metal music such as grawling and scrimming, HEO JUN‘s guitar, which showed the extension of the seven-string guitar of metal music, PARK TAE HEE‘s bass, which perfectly harmonized the original color and metal, and finally, drummer KIM JINWON‘s sophisticated and precise double-base drums and combinations, as well as his delicate symbol touches.
In addition, the album “ODYSSEY” contains a total of six tracks, including “Rebelion (feat. Xdinary Heroes)” and the title song “Orchid”, as well as “Voyeurist”, “Storm Born“, “End and end“, and “Daydream”.
Furthermore, YB will release its new EP album “ODYSSEY” at 6 p.m. on February 26 and will continue its album promotion activities starting with the club performance “YB: Metalogic” at Rolling Hall Seoul on March 1 and 2.
