Cube Entertainment‘s young talent group NOWADAYS is taking on the challenge of being an all-around idol.
On March 18th, its own content, “NOW A LEARN DAYS,” was released on its official YouTube channel. “NOW A LEARN DAYS” is a true variety show featuring NOWADAYS (Hyeonbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, Siyun) learning and improving on various topics. That day, the members gathered to learn ju-jitsu, their first challenge.
The NOWADAYS members, visiting Han Ju-jitsu, met with a former head of the National Standing Army at the Jakarta Asian Games. JINHYUK, who has been practicing taekwondo for nine years, including three years on the demonstration team; HYEONBIN, who was a cyclist; SIYUN, who practiced judo, ju-jitsu, and taekwondo; YEONWOO, who learned the basics of judo and Muay Thai; and YOON, who expressed his desire to win.
The members who had learned ju-jitsu moves participated in the final match. In the fight between HYEONBIN and JINHYUK, JINHYUK mastered the technique and surrendered, while YEONWOO won the match between him and YOON. The final match between JINHYUK and SIYUN, from the “maknae line,” was a fierce battle. In the end, SIYUN, who demonstrated his ju-jitsu skills, was declared the favorite.
In the meantime, the six-part series will be available every Tuesday at 8 p.m. KST on the official YouTube channel and will also be simulcast on the ABEMA channel in Japan. The series will be broadcast on ABEMA to attract fans worldwide.
