According to the agency, on March 27, JEONG EUN JI and SEO IN GUK will participate in Mnet’s “MCountdown” at 6 p.m. KST and perform a special performance of their new song “Couple.”
Mnet, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, is preparing a special performance for various artists to mark “MCountdown” for a month in March.
During this special performance, which will air that day, JEONG EUN JI and SEO IN GUK will perform their new song “Couple” for the first time on a music show, leaving a lasting impression on their fans. The stage where the two artists will perform together for “M Countdown” is generating heightened excitement and anticipation, a first in 13 years since “All for you” in 2012.
The special single “COUPLE,” released by JEONG EUN JI and SEO IN GUK on the 16th, is a duet reinterpreting Sechskies’ 1998 title track with a refreshing, spring-like sound. Aaron Kim and Isaac Han participated in the arrangement, adding a more refreshing sound to the original song’s familiar introductory melody, creating a sweet harmony with the two artists’ vocals.
JEONG EUN JI and SEO IN GUK co-starred as the male and female characters Sung Siwon and Yoon Yoonje in the 2012 tvN drama “Reply 1997.” Additionally, the soundtrack “All for you,” which they shared together at the time, reached the top of music charts and was highly praised by fans. Since then, they have reunited after 13 years with the remake of “Couple.”
