Singer and actor HWANG MIN HYUN has donated 50 million won to help those affected by the forest fires in Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan, the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (chaired by Song Pilho) announced on the 29th.

HWANG MIN HYUN told Hope Bridge, “I hope this will help a little bit for those affected by the wildfires,” adding, “I sincerely hope that daily life will resume as soon as possible.”
Hope Bridge Secretary General Shin Hoon said, “Everyone’s support will be of great help to the affected neighbors,” adding, “We will use this precious donation for the daily recovery of neighbors affected by the wildfires.“
Furthermore, Hope Bridge is providing 450,000 relief supplies, such as relief kits, shelter partitions, Morphos, daily necessities, bottled water, and food, to areas affected by the wildfires, and continues to support firefighter meals and laundry operations.
The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association was established in 1961 by media and social organizations from across the country. Its main activities include emergency relief, public donations and distribution, post-disaster recovery of local communities, and support for vulnerable people. To date, it has donated 1.6 trillion won and provided more than 60 million relief items.
