Singer SOYOU participated in a donation procession to support victims of the forest fires.

The Governor of the North Gyeongsang Red Cross Society of Korea stated, “On March 28, singer Soyou donated 50 million won to support the forest fire victims and the Red Cross relief efforts in North Gyeongsang.“
SOYOU first offered her condolences to the victims of the massive forest fire and said, “I would like to contribute to the repair of the damage and help the victims.”
“I hope this will bring some comfort and hope to those who are going through a difficult time. I hope you will return to a peaceful daily life as soon as possible,” she said.
SOYOU has been donating to the Korean Red Cross Society since 2015. In 2018, the Korean Red Cross Society appointed her as an honorary ambassador for the Seoul branch, and in 2022, she received the Korean Red Cross Society’s highest honor.
Meanwhile, SOYOU, a former member of the girl group SISTAR, is beloved for her sweet vocals. Her title songs include “Touch my body,” “Alone,” and “Some.” She recently appeared on MBC’s Hidden Eye and showcased her speaking skills.
