NCT - JAEMIN
On March 27, NCT DREAM member JAEMIN donated 150 million won to support the victims of the Yeongnam forest fires through the Community Chest of Korea (chaired by Kim Byung Joon). This donation will be used to support firefighters working at the fire site and to help the victims.

JAEMIN said, “I hope we can bring comfort and support to those who are going through a difficult time after losing their precious lives every day due to the forest fires, as well as to the firefighters protecting the endangered site.”
With this donation, JAEMIN joined the Honor Society, a group of major donors to the “Community Chest of Korea.” Having always been interested in volunteering and donating, he said, “I was able to donate thanks to NCTzen (the group’s fans), whom I adore. I want to continue sharing my heart where help is needed.“
JAEMIN‘s actions are spreading beyond individual donations to the fandom culture. In the midst of the worst forest fire in history, a climate of giving is developing within the NCT fandom, “NCTzen,” and more and more fans are practicing the value of “sharing.”
The “Community Chest of Korea” is a social welfare association established in November 1998 in accordance with the Community Chest Act of Korea. It consists of the central association and branches in 17 cities and provinces.
It is a representative private social welfare organization that identifies gaps in social welfare that the government cannot fill and resolves these problems. “Community Chest of Korea” symbolizes “Me, my family, my neighbor” and signifies transmitting love to one’s neighbor through love for oneself and one’s family.
