TAEIl
Reports have been made regarding TAEIL, a singer who was kicked out of the group NCT.

Recently, a netizen’s account of seeing TAEIL at a drunken party spread through the online community.
The netizen posted the photo, claiming that TAEIL had attended a drunken party before his first trial for sex crimes. The man’s face was blurred in the photo, and he added, “I blurred it because someone saw me take it, and an acquaintance next to him said, ‘My brother is going through a difficult time, so please don’t take a picture.’“
The 26th Criminal Branch of the Seoul Central District Court recently decided to hold its first trial on May 12 for violations of the Special Act on Punishment of Crimes of Sexual Violence against three people, including Taeil.

The case first became public last August when his agency, SM Entertainment, announced it in person. SM Entertainment announced TAEIL’s withdrawal from NCT, stating, “We recently confirmed that TAEIL was a defendant in a criminal case related to sex crimes,” adding, “We recognized the seriousness of the matter while we were trying to establish the facts, and therefore, we have decided to terminate TAEIL’s activities within the group.“
Since then, it has been reported that TAEIL was accused of sexually assaulting a drunk woman with two acquaintances in June. Quasi-rape crimes are established when two or more people possess a weapon or commit adultery while taking advantage of the victim’s inability to protest, such as a physical or mental loss.
When announcing the termination of the exclusivity contract with TAEIL in October of that year, SM Entertainment stated, “TAEIL is currently undergoing a criminal investigation, which is not only grounds for terminating the exclusivity contract, but also because they can no longer continue to enjoy our trust, we have decided to terminate the exclusivity contract as stipulated in his contract.“
