Boy group DKZ celebrated its sixth debut anniversary on Thursday. The group thanked its fans for its love and support over the past six years by thanking them through its agency on the same day and opened pop-up stores in Seoul.

“It’s thanks to the ARIS (the group’s fans) that DKZ was able to celebrate its sixth anniversary. I hope we can continue to be together for a long time,” said member SEHYEON through Dongyo Entertainment on Thursday, six years after the group’s debut in 2019.
The other four members, MINGYU, GISEOK, JAECHAN, and JONGHYEONG, also expressed their gratitude while promising new activities to come. “Every year on April 24th, I wonder how best to express my gratitude to the ARIS, but no words seem to be able to express everything perfectly: Thank you for being by our side for these six years,” said JAECHAN.
A commemorative photo celebrating the group’s sixth anniversary was also uploaded to DKZ’s social media on Wednesday at midnight KST.
DKZ has been active since 2018 with their first digital single “NOM.” The group made their official debut with the single “DONGKIZ ON THE BLOCK” on April 24, 2019.
The group has undergone major changes over its six-year history. It changed its name in March 2022, from DONGKIZ to its debut. That same year, WONDAE left the group, three others joined, and two more left in 2023.
Pop-up stores celebrating DKZ’s sixth anniversary will be open until April 29 at the Hyundai Department Store Outlet in Dongdaemun, central Seoul, and at the Hyundai Seoul in Yeongdeungpo District, eastern Seoul.
