Singer WENDY has become a member of the new ASND family.
ASND announced on April 25th: “RED VELVET member WENDY has signed an exclusive contract with ASND,“ adding, “We are delighted to collaborate with an artist who has proven her exceptional talent in so many ways.“
ASND plans to actively collaborate with WENDY for her work with RED VELVET. The agency stated, “We will do our utmost to further distinguish WENDY through her trust in ASND.“
WENDY debuted with RED VELVET in 2014 and has released numerous hits such as “Ice cream cake,” “Red flavor,” and “Psycho.”
She debuted her solo career with her first mini-album “LIKE WATER” in 2021, followed by her second mini-album “WISH YOU HELL” in March 2024. She has also garnered recognition for several drama soundtracks, such as “Goodbye,” “슬픔 속에 그댈 지워야만 해,” and “My day is full of you.”
Furthermore, WENDY has served as a judge on Mnet’s “Build-Up: Vocal Boy Group Survival” and KBS2’s “The DdanDdara.” She also served as a DJ for SBS Power FM’s “Wendy’s Young Street” for several years, demonstrating her talent as a host.
Therefore, expectations are high for the synergy that WENDY, who is returning to her role as ASND, will demonstrate.
