The medley of all the songs from BTS’s JIN’s second mini album “ECHO” was released on Hybe’s YouTube channel on May 12.

The seven tracks, including the title track “Don’t say you love me,” draw inspiration from the sound of a band JIN has long loved. A variety of musical genres are expected, ranging from lyrical melodic pop to energetic alternative rock.
The title track “Don’t say you love me” will be the album’s first track. It’s a pop genre with a light sound and understated composition. Big Hit Music‘s agency explains that the song depicts the feelings of a romantic relationship with one’s girlfriend and the pain of breaking up, as well as the difficulty of breaking up.
The second track, “Nothing without your love,” is in the British rock style, featuring impressive string instruments. The drum beats and other riffs, amplified towards the climax, convey intense emotions. Finally, “Loser (feat. YENA),” a joyful and incredibly seductive pop punk song, has been added as the third track.
The fourth track, “Rope it,” is JIN’s country rock debut. The song’s joyful energy perfectly matches JIN’s unique, bright, and hopeful image. The fifth track, “구름과 떠나는 여행,” offers a dreamy J-rock sound, and listening to the song evokes a warm, animated feeling.
The sixth track, “Background,” is a pop ballad with rich, emotional sounds, and the album closes with “오늘의 나에게.” This track falls within an alternative rock genre influenced by British rock of the 1970s and 1980s. Calm and light at first, it then evolves into a bright and refreshing variation, as if accompanying the audience.
JIN’s second mini album, “ECHO,” which will be released on May 16 at 1 PM KST, depicts different moments of life spreading like echoes in various forms. JIN added authenticity by participating in the lyrics of most of the songs, including “Nothing without your love,” “Loser (feat. YENA),” “Rope it,” and “구름과 떠나는 여행.”
