Girl group SEVENTEEN will be back with its new title track “Thunder,” its agency Pledis Entertainment announced on May 14.

SEVENTEEN released the tracklist for its fifth album, “HAPPY BURSTDAY,” on its official social media the day before at 10 p.m.
The album consists of 16 tracks, including three group songs and 13 solo tracks by 13 members. The title track, “Thunder,” evokes thunder and lightning, showing the members becoming unique and exploring its worlds. WOOZI and BUMZU co-wrote the lyrics and composed the song, with contributions from S.COUPS.
The first track, “HBD,” short for “Happy birthday,” is an intense opening song that marks SEVENTEEN’s rebirth as they celebrate its 10th anniversary. The group song “Bad influencer” was written, composed, and produced by world-renowned artist Pharrell Williams. For the first time on a SEVENTEEN album, all of the members’ solo tracks will also be included: THE8’s “Skyfall”, JOSHUA’s “Fortune change“, WONWOO’s “99.9%”, SEUNGKWAN’s “Raindrops”, HOSHI’s “Damage (feat. Timbaland)”, MINGYU’s “Shake it off“, DOKYEOM’s “Happy virus“, WOOZI’s “운명”, VERNON’s “Shining star“, JUN’s “Gemini”, DINO’s “Trigger”, JEONGHAN’s “우연”, and S.COUPS’ “Jungle”.
In addition to Pharrell Williams, producer Timbaland, who has worked with Madonna, Mariah Carey, and Sam Smith, also features on the album.
SEVENTEEN will hold a “BURST Stage” on May 25, the day before the new album’s release, on Seoul’s Submersible Bridge to boost comeback fever.
