The group ENHYPEN returns with its new title “Bad desire (With or Without You)”.
ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki) unveiled the tracklist for its sixth mini-album “DESIRE: UNLEASH” on May 22. According to reports, the new album will feature eight songs, including the title track “Bad desire (With or Without You),” “Flashover,” “Outside,” “Loose,” “Helium,” and “Too close.”
The title track “Bad desire (With or Without You)” expresses the overwhelming desire to turn yourself into a vampire. Permeating the album’s narrative, which expresses the longing for a deeper love, it invites us to discover ENHYPEN’s dangerous and deadly charm. Kirkut, producer of the hits “Bite me” and “Bought the heat back,” joins forces once again to announce the birth of a masterpiece. The album also features a reinterpreted English version with more intuitive and sensual lyrics.
Throughout the song, ENHYPEN depicts various forms of desire. The first track, “Flashover,” conveys the message that the desire within you intensifies and becomes uncontrollable. “Outside” directly expresses the desire to make you like me, and a member of Big Hit Music’s new group, scheduled to debut in the third quarter of this year, participated in the writing and composition.
“Loose,” which was released as a preview in April, will also be featured. “Loose” attracted attention upon its release thanks to ENHYPEN’s sexy vocals, expressing a sense of closeness to you. The new album will also feature the Korean version of “Loose,” which is expected to be a hit with fans.
The fifth track, “Helium,” compares the air I breathe, in love with you, to “Helium,” and member JAY showcased his musical talents by contributing to the production, lyric writing, and guitar. “Too close” set the tone for the lyrics: thrilling emotions that seem to make even my sanity disappear in the distance between us and you.
In addition, ENHYPEN will release an album preview, allowing you to listen to the entirety of its sixth mini-album, “DESIRE: UNLEASH,” on May 23. The new album will be released simultaneously worldwide at 1 PM KST on the 5th of next month.
