On May 28, BrandNew Music officially announced the upcoming release of AS ONE’s new song on its social media channels. The posted image shows two young girls holding a cake and presents, sparking fans’ curiosity about the song’s concept.
Following that, two video teasers featuring members LEE MIN and CRYSTAL celebrating someone’s birthday, accompanied by snippets of the track, were released—raising anticipation for the new single even higher.
“축하해 생일” is a remake of the original song from 2012, featured on Verbal Jint’s fifth studio album, “10년동안의오독I,” on which AS ONE had collaborated. This new version has been reinterpreted with the unique sensitivity of the duo. Supported by the clear and delicate voices of LEE MIN and CRYSTAL, the song blends soft, warm rhythms, evoking a sweet slice of cake and promising comforting emotion.
Additionally, AS ONE, who recently drew attention through its appearances on KBS’s “The Season: Cantabile” with Park Bo Gum—performing iconic songs like “원하고 원망하죠 (Desire and Hope),” “Day by day,” and “미안해야 하는거니”—will release its new single “축하해 생일” today at 6 PM KST on various online music platforms.
