KATSEYE - MEGAN
MEGAN, the American member of HYBE’s girl group KATSEYE, has come out as bisexual.

On June 6, during a live broadcast with fellow member LARA, MEGAN said:
“I’m coming out. I’m bisexual.”
LARA immediately expressed her happiness and support, and fans flooded the chat with encouraging messages.
Following LARA, the Indian-American member who previously came out, MEGAN is now the second LGBTQ+ member in KATSEYE, making the group officially one with two openly queer members.
Back in March, LARA revealed her homosexuality through a fan communication platform, saying:
“This is a part of me, and I’m not ashamed of it at all. I’m proud.”
She also shared:
“When I joined the survival audition program, I was scared I wouldn’t be accepted. But now, I’m confident,” while thanking fans for their support.

KATSEYE is a six-member global girl group co-produced by HYBE and Geffen Records, formed through the audition program The Debut: Dream Academy. The group officially debuted last June.
Since then, they’ve been gaining rapid worldwide popularity. Their latest single, “GNARLY,” has charted on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK’s Official Singles Top 100 — all within less than a year since debut.
Riding this wave of success, KATSEYE is set to release their second EP, “BEAUTIFUL CHAOS,” on June 27, marking their comeback. They’ll also take the stage at the 2025 Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles on June 21, and later in August, perform at the renowned Lollapalooza Chicago festival, solidifying their explosive global rise.
