ENHYPEN is poised to shake up both domestic and international music charts with its 6th mini-album.
According to the Hanteo Chart, ENHYPEN’s 6th mini-album, “DESIRE : UNLEASH,” ranked No. 1 on the daily album sales chart for two consecutive days (June 5 and 6). With 1,932,792 copies sold in just two days, the group is on the verge of achieving their third double million-seller milestone.
Immediately upon its release on June 5, the album soared to the top of the Top Albums charts on iTunes in several countries, including Japan, Mexico, the UK, the U.S., and Canada. It also reached No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Albumchart, showcasing ENHYPEN’s massive global appeal.
The title track, “Bad Desire (With or Without You),” is also enjoying huge success. It topped both the real-time and daily charts on Bugs (as of June 5), hit No. 1 on AWA Japan’s Top 100 Rising Songs, and entered Spotify’s Global Daily Top Songs at No. 72.
International media have also praised the group’s latest release. British magazine Dazed published an article on June 5 titled “ENHYPEN: Ready for Global Stardom,” highlighting the “organic flow of the album, designed as a seamless listening experience.” The magazine added, “It allows listeners to naturally follow the album’s full journey, giving ENHYPEN a solid foundation to expand and experiment with their sound.”
Billboard Philippines also spotlighted the comeback, writing: “With ‘DESIRE : UNLEASH,’ ENHYPEN is ready to usher in a new era. Backed by a unique artistic identity built over the past five years, they continue to break boundaries as artists.”
The music video for the title track is gaining massive attention as well, surpassing 10 million views within just 16 hours of release. As of June 6, it was the most-watched video on YouTube and topped the platform’s worldwide music video trending list.
ENHYPEN’s live performances are also generating buzz. Since their comeback, the group has appeared on multiple music shows, leaving a powerful impression with their intense choreography and flawless vocals. On June 7, they are set to perform their new title track on MBC’s Show! Music Core stage.
