NOWZ - YEONWOO
Yuqi features on the new track by NOWZ, Cube Entertainment’s rookie boy group.
On June 10, Cube Entertainment revealed the individual concept photos and moving posters for the pre-release single from NOWZ’s first mini album, “IGNITION”, through its official channels. Along with the visuals, they unveiled the song title: “Fly to the youth (자유롭게 날아) (Feat. Yuqi (YUQI))”.
The pre-release single “FLY TO THE YOUTH” features Yuqi from the group I-DLE. Well known for her skills as both a vocalist and a singer-songwriter—through her work with I-DLE and as a solo artist—Yuqi lends her talents to support her juniors in NOWZ, drawing public attention.
That same day, members HYEONBIN, YOON, and YEONWOO caught fans’ eyes with concept photos that captured moments of youthful emotion, HYEONBIN, gazing thoughtfully in front of a clear glass of water, YOON, expressing deep sensitivity through a melancholic and wounded gaze, YEONWOO, showing a new side of himself with funky styling and a bold vibe. Each of the three showcased their own unique charm.
The moving posters also featured lyrics from “Fly to the Youth (Feat. Yuqi (YUQI))” that highlight the song’s lyrical and sentimental tone, including:
- “I don’t care what they say, 나에겐 네가 있어” (“I don’t care what they say, as long as I have you”)
- “가두지 못해 네가 뭔데 왜” (“You can’t hold me back—who do you think you are?”)
- “새벽은 다시 또 찾아올 테니까” (“Dawn will come again anyway”)
As a lead-up to the release of its first mini album “IGNITION”, NOWZ will drop its pre-release single on June 17.
