The group ENHYPEN has once again proven its global power by ranking among the top positions on the major U.S. album chart, the Billboard 200.
According to an article published on June 15 (local time) on the official website of the American music media Billboard, ENHYPEN’s (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Ni-ki) 6th mini-album titled “DESIRE : UNLEASH” debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart dated June 21.
With this ranking, ENHYPEN has placed five consecutive albums in the Billboard 200 Top 10: the mini-albums “MANIFESTO : DAY 1″, “DARK BLOOD”, “ORANGE BLOOD“, their second studio album “ROMANCE : UNTOLD”, and now “DESIRE : UNLEASH“. This marks the group’s eighth overall appearance on the chart.
With “DESIRE : UNLEASH”, ENHYPEN cements its status as a “top-tier K-pop group.” The album surpassed 2.14 million copies sold in its first week (physical sales during the first seven days), making it the second best-selling K-pop album of the year.
Building on this success, “DESIRE : UNLEASH” also ranked No. 1 on Korean charts as well as several major Japanese charts, including Oricon’s Weekly Combined Albums Ranking, Weekly Albums Ranking, Weekly Digital Albums Ranking, and Billboard Japan’s Top Album Sales, Hot Albums, and Download Albums charts.
Additionally, ENHYPEN took first place on the music show Inkigayo aired on June 15 with their title track “Bad Desire (With or Without You),” achieving a triple win streak on music shows.
