A well-known entertainment agency is reportedly involved in a legal dispute for refusing to pay costume cleaning fees totaling 12 million won (about 8,000 euros).

On June 20, JTBC reported that a famous agency had entrusted the cleaning of stage costumes for a 10-member boy group to a specialized dry cleaner located in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, but has not paid the bill for two years.
According to the dry cleaner’s owner, the agency sent costumes for cleaning between 200 and 220 times, with a total amount exceeding 12 million won.
This is not an isolated case: stylists, costume designers, and alteration shops also claim they have not been paid, with amounts reaching tens of millions of won.
The dry cleaner’s manager stated:
“The court ordered them to pay the overdue fees immediately, but they simply responded that they have no money.”
Yet, the same agency debuted a new idol group just last week.
JTBC adds that the agency’s president, known as “Kim,” is a first-generation producer famous for launching many well-known artists since the 1990s. When the investigation began, the agency claimed it was “an accounting department error” and assured they would immediately pay the unpaid fees from the past two years.
Currently, all attempts to contact the agency remain unanswered.
