TWS has participated in the OST for “Good boy.”

The group TWS performs the fourth part of the original soundtrack for the drama “Good boy,” which airs on JTBC every Saturday and Sunday (directed by Shim Na-yeon, written by Lee Dae-il, produced by SLL, Studio&New, and Drama House Studio). The track, titled “Brand new day,” will be released on June 22 at 6 PM (KST) on major music streaming platforms.
“Brand new day” is a Britpop-style song that tells the story of youth taking a fresh step forward after their dreams have collapsed—an anthem of proving oneself. The refreshing band-style guitar sound blends perfectly with TWS’s signature bright and energetic vibe, powerfully enhancing the drama’s narrative.
In particular, the lyrics “부딪치고 일어나, 마지막 웃는 건 바로 너일 테니까 (Fall and rise again, because in the end, it’ll be you who smiles last” echo the journey of young rookie cops, former Olympic medalists, as they fight against injustice and corruption in the drama. These words are expected to deeply resonate with viewers and offer encouragement.
The harmonious chorus of all six members from the very beginning of the song injects vitality, while the gradually building sound leading to the climax matches the characters’ emotional arcs, drawing listeners into the story even more.
The track was composed by Good Boy‘s music director Heo Seong-jin, along with DUNK and David Simon. The lyrics, written by Heo Seong-jin himself, reflect a shift from anxiety, “Can I really do this?”, to conviction: “I will make it.”
Meanwhile, “Good boy” is a youth action-comedy police drama about former national athletes who become police officers through a special recruitment program, taking on a broken society where justice and common sense have collapsed.
