On June 25, the label The Black Label shared on its official social media the cover image of JEON SOMI’s new digital single titled “EXTRA,” which will be released on July 7.
The revealed cover features a close-up of JEON SOMI wearing a mysterious expression that immediately captures attention. Her eye makeup appears smudged, her expression shows negative emotions like dissatisfaction or irritation, her hands frame her face, and the word “EXTRA” is written on the bridge of her nose, creating an enigmatic atmosphere. Previously known for her bubbly and energetic music embodying the image of a “high teen girl” and “summer queen,” JEON SOMI surprises with this bold new look.
Having already hinted at a drastic change with a short haircut and a mature, chic style through a teaser image, curiosity is growing about the musical transformation JEON SOMI will showcase with her new digital single “EXTRA.”
Additionally, JEON SOMI plans a fan meeting tour called “JEON SOMI 2025 FAN MEETING [CHAOS],” starting with a concert in Seoul on July 19, followed by shows in Tokyo and Osaka.
