The group ILY:1 has denied rumors about suspending activities or disbanding.
On June 24, ILY:1’s agency, FCENM, stated: “It seems some people have been confused by unverified information spreading through unofficial channels,” adding, “Currently, ILY:1 is continuing its group activities without any disbandment or suspension.”
The agency went on to say, “The members are preparing to reorganize and return in their best form to greet their fans,” and further emphasized, “False speculation can cause unnecessary worry and misunderstanding for both the members and their fans. We will provide accurate updates through our official channels, and we kindly ask that unverified information not be shared or spread.”
Previously, ILY:1 had posted on their official social media:“The moments spent with ILY:1 and Only1 (our fandom name) have been unforgettable — full of both laughter and tears,” and added, “Thank you for showing us how pure and warm-hearted support can be, and how such feelings can become the greatest driving force in life.”They concluded with:
“Now we return to our daily lives, but we hope the precious memories made with ILY:1 continue to give strength and inspiration to Only1 every single day.”
Additionally, during a recent concert held in Tokyo, Japan, the members had announced that “this would be their final activity,” which sparked speculation that the group might be disbanding.
Those rumors gained traction after it was revealed that Japanese members HANA and RIRIKA, as well as Thai members RONA and ELVA, had returned to Japan and Thailand respectively. However, the agency has denied the disbandment rumors, clarifying that the group is simply undergoing a “reorganization.”
ILY:1 is a multinational six-member girl group consisting of RIRIKA, NAYU, RONA, HANA, ARA, and ELVA. The group debuted in April 2022 with their first single, “LOVE IN BLOOM.”
