Singer JESSI is making her return to the music scene after a year-long hiatus.
JESSI will release her new digital single “NEWSFLASH” on June 27 at 1 PM KST. This marks her first musical activity under her newly founded independent label, “UNNIE Company.”
The new track “Newsflash” is a hip-hop song that frames her comeback as a true “newsflash,” delivering a strong and confident message. In the teaser video released on June 25, JESSI appears under bright spotlights with the phrase: “Don’t believe all the hype,” building excitement among fans.
JESSI was involved in an assault case at the end of 2024 but was recently cleared of all charges by authorities. This comeback is therefore her first official activity since the suspicions were lifted.
Her single “NEWSFLASH” will drop on June 27 at 1 PM on major music platforms both in Korea and internationally.
