NEWBEAT
The group NEWBEAT is taking action to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation.

On June 28, the members of NEWBEAT (Park Minseok, Hong Minsung, Jeon Yeoyeojeong, Choi Seohyun, Kim Taeyang, Jo Yunhu, and Kim Riwoo) participated in a collaborative campaign between the game Silver and Blood and the Korean Red Cross. The event was held in the Seongsu district at XYZ SEOUL, where they performed during a special busking event.
To match the theme of the promotion, the members appeared in vampire-inspired outfits, leaving a striking first impression. They performed various songs in the outdoor area behind the blood donation bus, including “JeLLo (힘숨찐),” “Hiccups (히컵스),” “Flip the coin (플립 더 코인),” and “Highs & lows (하이즈앤로우즈),” delivering a dynamic and colorful stage.
In addition to their performance, NEWBEAT handed out campaign-themed fans to the attendees and interacted warmly with fans on-site, enhancing the festive mood. The members also took part in donating blood themselves, adding sincerity and personal commitment to the campaign’s message.
This promotion, aligned with the game’s concept, is a public interest campaign designed to raise awareness about the decreasing number of blood donors and to encourage new people to participate.
NEWBEAT officially debuted in March with their first full-length album, “RAW AND RAD.” Since then, they have actively promoted through shows like Mnet’s debut program “Drop the NEWBEAT” and SBS’s fan showcase “힘숨찐 해부실,” solidifying their presence in the K-pop scene.
Recently, the group has been gaining attention from fans both in Korea and internationally, performing at major events such as “Love Some Festival 2025,” “Seoul Spring Festa – Seoul Wonder Show,” “KCON JAPAN 2025,” and “MyK FESTA.”
NEWBEAT plans to continue engaging with global K-pop fans through diverse performances and both online and offline content.
