A2O MAY
The Chinese girl group A2O MAY is making a strong impact in the United States.

A2O MAY has achieved an impressive performance on American mainstream radio charts.
According to data from June 29, their new track “Boss” ranked 35th in the TOP 40 of the American radio chart Mediabase. This marks the second consecutive time the group has entered this ranking, after reaching 39th place with its debut song “Under my skin (A2O).”
It’s the first time in Mediabase history that a girl group made up entirely of Chinese members has placed two consecutive songs in the TOP 40.
The Mediabase TOP 40 chart is based on real airplay data from over 180 major radio stations in the United States and Canada. This data is also used in the Radio Songs subchart of the Billboard Hot 100, making it a significant indicator of impact in the music industry.
The song “Boss” has surpassed 30 million views on YouTube and reached #1 on QQ Music’s New Releases chart in China. The group also recently delivered a live performance on the musical program “China Music TOP Chart” aired on the national CCTV channel.
Produced by LEE SOO MAN, A2O MAY embodies a new musical genre called “Zalpha Pop,” aimed at both Gen Z and Gen Alpha. Last month, they performed at the American Wango Tango festival, sharing the stage with Doja Cat, David Guetta, and other major artists.
