BIG OCEAN’s very first sub-unit, BIG OCEAN JJ, is gearing up for its debut.

On July 1, Parastar Entertainment announced:
“On July 9 at 6 PM (KST), the track ‘Bucket hat’, performed by BIG OCEAN JJ, the first sub-unit of BIG OCEAN made up of members PJ and JISEOK, will be officially released.”
The agency added:
“The music video and live performance of ‘Bucket hat’ will have their world premiere at the ‘AI for Good’ Global Summit hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) on July 9 in Geneva, Switzerland, raising anticipation.”
The song “Bucket hat” features a performance-driven structure blended with groovy 2000s-inspired sounds and a playful, nighttime energy. It expresses the thrill of living fully in the moment through fun, flirtatious vibes.
Visually, BIG OCEAN JJ brings a bold and unique concept by combining street fashion (bucket hats) with traditional Korean gonryongpo (royal robe) patterns, creating a striking cultural fusion. Their signature performance includes choreography featuring bucket hats and dynamic sign-language rap, delivering both a visual and auditory punch.

-
July 12: Copenhague (Denmark)
-
July 14: Lille (France)
