I-DLE member SOYEON has revealed a refreshing charm.
On June 30th, I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) released a special live clip of SOYEON titled “내 이름 맑음 Live Clip” (“My Name is Clear”) on its official YouTube channel.
In this video, SOYEON adopts a vibe completely different from the powerful performance of “Good Thing”, the title track of I-DLE’s 8th mini-album. Dressed in a summer uniform and wearing cute hair clips, she presents a look worthy of a romantic manga heroine, singing live with a refreshing voice against the lush backdrop of the Han River.
Rookie actor Park Doha, from the same agency Cube Entertainment, makes a special appearance and shares the screen with her. Together, they ride bikes, capturing the audience’s attention with their innocent chemistry.
“내 이름 맑음” was originally the title track of the girl group QWER’s 2nd mini-album, released last September. SOYEON wrote, composed, and arranged the song. Thanks to its lyrical group sound and hopeful message, the track was highly praised upon release, confirming SOYEON’s talents as a producer.
She had already performed “내 이름 맑음” with her own sensitivity last May on KBS2’s show The Seasons. Thanks to fan support, the song was officially released in digital format on June 27th, receiving a warm reception.
