The group BOYNEXTDOOR is set to further boost its rising popularity by releasing a new record in Japan.

BOYNEXTDOOR (Jaehyun, Sungho, Riwoo, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak) will drop its second Japanese single, titled “BOYLIFE,” on August 20.
The title track will be an original Japanese song called “Count to love.” The single will also include Japanese versions of “I feel good,” “Nice guy,” and “부모님 관람불가” (“Not for Parents’ Eyes”).
The six members first announced the upcoming release during their Japanese encore concert, “BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR ‘KNOCK ON Vol.1’ ENCORE IN JAPAN,” held on June 30 at Keio Arena in Tokyo, sparking an explosive reaction from fans. Speaking in fluent Japanese, they shared:
“The title track is really amazing, so we hope you’re all looking forward to it. We’re also excited to see you again through our activities in Japan.”
BOYNEXTDOOR has been gaining momentum in Japan. Even before their official debut, they were featured on the covers of popular magazines and invited to major festivals like “SUMMER SONIC 2024″.

Their debut single “AND,” released last year, sold over 250,000 copies in its first month, earning them Platinum certification from the Gold Disc Awards (as of July 2024). Their Japanese tour, “BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR ‘KNOCK ON Vol.1’,” held across six cities, sold out all 12 shows as soon as ticket sales opened. The encore concerts also sold out in record time, confirming their explosive popularity.
As the group continues its steady rise, anticipation is growing over what the six members will deliver in their upcoming release.
