MONSTA X - HYUNGWON
HYUNGWON, member of the group MONSTA X, has once again asserted his global presence by appearing on the cover of a Chinese magazine.
The premium Chinese travel and lifestyle magazine World Traveller, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, recently unveiled the cover of its June issue along with a pictorial featuring HYUNGWON. This marks the first time a Korean artist has been selected as a cover model for the magazine. Through this solo shoot—his first since completing military service—HYUNGWON fully showcased his deepened aura and mature charm.
On the cover, HYUNGWON is seen wearing a red coat, gazing directly into the camera. His calm yet intense stare, damp bangs falling gently over his forehead, and composed expression create an atmosphere that is both pure and mysterious.
Other shots highlight his photogenic qualities. In one, he holds a chess piece while staring at the camera; in another, he lounges on a bed in a soft knit sweater, evoking a relaxed vibe. A third image shows him lying in a bathtub wearing a navy-blue robe, adding a touch of allure. HYUNGWON effortlessly embodies a variety of concepts, leaving viewers in awe.
Meanwhile, MONSTA X, the group to which HYUNGWON belongs, is set to hold a special solo concert to celebrate its 10th debut anniversary. Titled “2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X”, the concert will take place from July 18 to 20 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul’s Olympic Park in Songpa.
