KOYOTE delivered a surprise performance full of loyalty and energy for the members of Miss Trot.

On July 12, the co-ed group KOYOTE made a surprise guest appearance during the 6 PM show of the “우리가 다시 한번 : 첫정 (Once Again: First Emotion)” concert, held by the Season 1 cast of Miss Trot at KBS Arena in Seoul’s Gangseo district. Their nostalgic hit songs sparked an explosive response from the audience.
The second concert, themed around “transformation,” showcased never-before-seen performances by the Miss Trot members, including covers of legendary tracks. As Kang Ye Seul, Kim Na Hee, Kim Hee Jin, and Jung Da Kyung performed KOYOTE’s song “실연”, KOYOTE suddenly appeared on stage, igniting deafening cheers and wild excitement from the crowd.
Amid a standing ovation, KOYOTE then performed “비몽” alongside the Miss Trot members. Their powerful vocals and high-energy performance instantly electrified the venue, leading to spontaneous group dancing among the audience. Fans sang along at full volume throughout the song, filling the arena with incredible energy.
SHIN JI, who served as a master (judge/coach) on Miss Trot Season 1, shared:
“I’ve wholeheartedly supported and promoted this First Emotion concert. As a former master, these girls are also my own ‘first emotion.’ When I heard they’d be performing a medley of our songs, I wanted to join them and have fun together.”
KIM JONG MIN added warmly:
“It’s already been six years since Miss Trot began. Thank you for being here for our juniors. I hope we can stay together for another sixty years.”
BBAEK GA jokingly said:
“KOYOTE is one unit. If SHIN JI calls, we come. We’re only going to grow closer!”, bringing laughter and warm applause from the audience.
SHIN JI also revealed:
“Our new song will be released on August 6.”
At the audience’s request, she sang a short snippet of the chorus, triggering another round of enthusiastic cheers. She continued:
“Starting in September, we’ll kick off a nationwide tour. Come join us!”
Finally, KOYOTE wrapped up its appearance with its hit song “순정”, sending the concert atmosphere soaring to its peak amid a standing ovation.
As Korea’s longest-running active co-ed group, KOYOTE continues to enjoy enduring popularity. The group will release its new single “CALL ME” on August 6, followed by a national concert tour starting in September.
