STRAY KIDS is making waves by reaching 100 million views on YouTube for the 17th time, thanks to the music video for “Cheese.”

The “Cheese” MV, from STRAY KIDS’ 2nd studio album “NOEASY” released on August 23, 2021, surpassed 100 million views on YouTube on July 14 around 7:30 a.m. Korean time. This milestone came just after the “Megaverse” MV, from the mini-album “樂-STAR (Rock-Star)”, also crossed the 100 million mark on July 13, marking another record-breaking streak for the group.
With this achievement, STRAY KIDS now has 17 music videos that have reached or exceeded 100 million views, an all-time record for a 4th generation K-pop boy group. The songs include: “God’s menu,” “Back door,” “Miroh,” “My pace,” “Thunderous,” “Maniac,” “Hellevator,” “Christmas EveL,” “CASE 143,” “S-Class,” “Red lights (Bang Chan & Hyunjin),” “LALALALA,” “Circus” (original Japanese title), “Venom,” “Chk Chk Boom,” “Megaverse,” and now “Cheese.”
“Cheese,” which serves as the intro track on “NOEASY”, STRAY KIDS’ first million-selling album, is an electro-rock song featuring aggressive synth bass and punchy kicks. The word “cheese,” used when smiling for a photo, is cleverly played with various types of cheese in the lyrics, offering a fresh listening experience. The music video captures the group’s lively energy and freedom of expression, with a unique touch of lightness and whimsy.
Recently, STRAY KIDS successfully wrapped up its biggest North American tour to date, “Stray Kids World Tour ‘DOMINATE’”, consisting of 13 concerts across 10 cities, all held in major arenas.
They then kicked off their very first European tour with an opening show on July 11 at Amsterdam’s Johan Cruyff Arena. This European leg includes 6 cities and a total of 8 concerts, all in huge arenas: July 15 in Frankfurt, July 18 and 19 in London, July 22 in Madrid, July 26 and 27 in Paris, and July 30 in Rome. This major European tour follows their dates in Latin America and North America, solidifying the group’s global status.
