THE BLACK LABEL once again proves the global power of K-pop.

THE BLACK LABEL producers are dominating the top of Korean charts with several standout tracks: the double title tracks “Famous” and “Wicked” from the rookie group ALLDAY PROJECT, who caused a real phenomenon from its debut; the songs “Golden,” “Soda pop,” “Your idol,” and “How it’s done” from the Netflix animated film “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS” soundtrack; and finally, “Jump,” the title track marking BLACKPINK’s spectacular comeback after 2 years and 10 months.
ALLDAY PROJECT’s “Famous,” which already stirred huge excitement with its pre-release music video, hit No. 1 on Melon’s TOP 100 chart (Korea’s largest streaming platform) just three days after release. The second title “Wicked” also rose steadily, reaching No. 9 thanks to music show promotions—a remarkable feat for a rookie group.
The soundtrack for “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS”, released June 20 and ranked No. 1 globally in the film category on Netflix, is also attracting international media attention. Composed and performed by renowned producers including TEDDY, KUSH, 24, Vince, IDO, and Danny Chung, this high-quality OST, crafted by Korea’s top composers, received critical acclaim and even reached No. 2 on the prestigious Billboard 200—a rare achievement for a K-pop soundtrack.
“Jump,” the title track for BLACKPINK’s comeback, which kicked off their world tour at Goyang Stadium, was also produced by TEDDY. It’s an EDM track featuring a powerful guitar riff and throbbing bass, showcasing an explosive transformation of the group, quite different from their usual sound.
Meanwhile, THE BLACK LABEL’s girl group MEOVV captivated fans with its debut EP released in May, notably with the song “Hands up,” which saw a resurgence after promotions ended and climbed to No. 14 on Melon’s TOP 100. Likewise, JEON SOMI’s digital single “EXTRA,” released July 7, debuted at No. 22 on Melon’s HOT 100 chart, proving her ongoing popularity.
In this way, TEDDY and his trusted producer team at THE BLACK LABEL—known for their consistent quality—continue to propel K-pop not only in Korea but on the global stage.
