HUI, a member of the group PENTAGON, has ended his exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment.
On July 16, Cube Entertainment stated, “After thorough discussions with HUI, we have recently terminated our exclusive contract.”
They added, “Since 2016, HUI has been the leader and main vocalist of PENTAGON, consistently showing new facets with his exceptional musical talent and passion. As a producer and solo artist, he has continuously challenged himself to create his own musical world.“
Recently, HUI suffered a nasal fracture while filming the JTBC variety show ‘뭉쳐야 찬다4,’ which led him to halt his activities. Cube Entertainment clarified, “Although the exclusive contract period with us has ended, we plan to support HUI both materially and emotionally during his recovery. We will do our best to help him heal his injury and return in good health.“
They concluded, “We thank HUI for his efforts and dedication, and we ask everyone to continue giving him warm interest and support as he embarks on a new path. We sincerely wish HUI all the best for his future.“
