MAMAMOO’s singer HWEEIN is starting a new chapter with WITH US Entertainment.
On July 25, WITH US Entertainment announced:
“We have signed an exclusive contract with HWEEIN. We deeply respect her unique voice and outstanding musical talent, and we will provide full support so she can fully express her potential as a solo artist.”
The agency added:
“We will do our utmost to ensure that she can actively pursue her career both as a member of MAMAMOO and as a solo performer.”
HWEEIN is a multi-talented artist, loved for her distinct vocal tone, emotional depth, and captivating aura. Since her official debut with MAMAMOO in 2014, she celebrates her 11th anniversary this year. She has firmly established herself as one of K-pop’s top vocalists, known for her powerful live performances and ability to elevate the choruses of many of the group’s hit songs.
She launched her solo career in 2018 with magnolia, MAMAMOO’s very first solo album, laying the foundation for her own musical identity. Her debut solo single “EASY” topped the charts upon release, marking the start of a highly successful solo journey.
Since then, HWEEIN has expanded her discography with the full-length album “IN” the mood and two mini-albums, “REDD” and “WHEE”. She has consistently released singles, collaborations, and OST tracks, continuing her active presence in the music scene. Last year, she successfully held her first solo world tour, “WHEE IN THE MOOD [BEYOND]”, performing 20 shows across 18 cities worldwide.
Now embarking on a new phase of her career with WITH US Entertainment, anticipation is high for the diverse and rich musical projects HWEEIN will bring forth, projects that will further highlight her unique artistic identity.
