THE BOYZ - HYUNJAE
HYUNJAE, a member of THE BOYZ, will take the stage despite suffering a ligament injury in his ankle.
On August 1, the group’s agency, ONE HUNDRED, released an official statement:
“HYUNJAE recently injured his ankle during a live content recording. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where tests confirmed a partial tear in his ankle ligaments. Following medical advice, he will be participating in KBS2’s Music Bank performance today (August 1) while seated in a chair.”
Despite the unexpected injury, HYUNJAE chose to go ahead and perform. On that day, THE BOYZ will present their title track “Stylish” from their 10th mini album a;effect, as well as the B-side track “Aura”, for the first time on television.
The agency also added:
“As the artist’s health is our top priority, we will carefully plan and adjust his upcoming activities. We will do everything we can to ensure a swift and full recovery.”
In related news, THE BOYZ will kick off their 4th world tour “THE BLAZE” starting August 9 at KSPO Dome in Seoul, where they will reunite with fans from around the world.
