The music video for “Pink venom,” the pre-release track from BLACKPINK’s second studio album (Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa), has officially surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube.

According to YG Entertainment, the “Pink venom” video reached the 1 billion mark at 12:52 AM on October 4, nearly three years after its release on August 19, 2022.
With this new milestone, BLACKPINK now has a total of nine videos with over 1 billion views. Prior to this, the following reached the same benchmark: “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” (2.3 billion views), “Kill this love” (2.1 billion), the performance video of “How you like that” (1.8 billion) and its official MV (1.3 billion), “Boombayah” (1.8 billion), “As if it’s your last” (1.4 billion), LISA’s exclusive performance video for “Money” (1.1 billion), and JENNIE’s solo MV “Solo” (1 billion).
To date, BLACKPINK has released 50 videos with over 100 million views on YouTube, consistently breaking new records and achieving massive numbers. Their channel has accumulated over 3.95 billion views, and their subscriber count has surpassed 98.2 million, the highest among all artists worldwide.
The “Pink venom” MV garnered 90.4 million views within just 24 hours, setting a new record for a female artist. It then reached 100 million views in just 29 hours and 35 minutes, and 200 million in just over seven days, signaling a massive wave of global popularity.
“Pink venom” is a hip-hop track that highlights BLACKPINK’s signature charisma. From the intro, traditional Korean instrument sounds instantly grab the listener’s attention, blending with a powerful beat. On top of that, sharp rap lines and captivating vocals from each member amplify their unique charm.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is continuing their global tour, “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR <DEADLINE>,” which includes 31 shows across 16 cities.
