Singer-songwriter CHOO SEUNG YEOP sings about his warm and simple daily life with his dog.
On August 4 at 12 PM KST, CHOO SEUNG YEOP will release his new single “개산책 (Dog walk)” on various music platforms, sharing a story inspired by walks with his dog.
“개산책” is a song that, as the title suggests, sincerely and calmly portrays the scenery of his walks with his dog. CHOO SEUNG YEOP took part in both writing and composing the track, drawing inspiration from real walks with his poodle, whom he’s been with for ten years, to craft the melody and lyrics. More than just a tribute to a pet, the song expresses the love and comfort shared with a living being, offering gentle emotion to all dog lovers.
CHOO SEUNG YEOP explained:
“I wanted it to feel just as comfortable as my daily walks with my ten-year-old poodle. Then I thought, why not write a song about walking a dog? I hope many people who walk their dogs will enjoy listening to it.”
The music video for this new single was created with the spontaneous participation of real dog owners. Precious footage of walks with their pets was collected to create a heartwarming video full of empathy and smiles, promising an atmosphere of peace and happiness.
Formerly a member of the band ACHTUNG, where he showcased a unique rock style, CHOO SEUNG YEOP gained public attention for his charmingly husky voice and original musical signature during his appearance on JTBC’s “Sing Again 3“.
