RED VELVET - JOY
RED VELVET’s JOY is taking on a new artistic challenge by writing her own songs for her first mini-album, revealing an even more mature side of her talent.

JOY’s debut mini-album, “FROM JOY, WITH LOVE,” set to release on the 18th, features six tracks including the title song “Love splash!“. Several songs were written by JOY herself, offering a rich and diverse glimpse into her unique musical world.
Among them, “Get up and dance,” entirely written by JOY, is an energetic and powerful pop dance track. The lyrics passionately express the desire to have fun and dance with someone met as if by fate, while JOY’s clear and dynamic vocals deepen the listener’s immersion in the song.
Another track, “Unwritten page,” which JOY also co-wrote, is a pop ballad with a waltz rhythm. The song delivers a warm message of encouragement from a future self who has learned to love herself, directed to the past self going through tough times. JOY’s emotional voice adds a soft and profound resonance to the message.
Additionally, starting at midnight on August 12, RED VELVET’s official social media accounts released a third series of teaser images and a minimalist black-and-white mood clip, focusing solely on JOY. This concept elegantly conveys the message of “Self love,” emphasizing the importance of accepting and loving yourself as you are, a message warmly embraced by fans worldwide.

The mini-album “FROM JOY, WITH LOVE” will be available in full on all music platforms on the 18th at 6 PM KST.
