KIM JAE JOONG
For the “ATA Festival 2025”, Ten Asia published an interview with artist KIM JAE JOONG.

Singer KIM JAE JOONG sparked curiosity by talking about “the item he’d like to see at a concert by the Han River.”
An interview video in which KIM JAE JOONG expresses his excitement ahead of the ATA Festival was released on August 16 at noon KST on TenAsia and the official ATA Festival social media accounts. The “ATA Festival 2025” will take place on September 27 and 28, with KIM JAE JOONG performing on the second day of the festival (Sunday, September 28).
KIM JAE JOONG shared that at next month’s ATA Festival, he wants to spend a moment with the Babies (the name of his fandom) as well as fans of other artists, asking: “Give me a collective chant for a part of ‘Glorious day.’” He added: “Of course, there will also be hardcore rock, but I’ve planned a lot of softer, lighter songs that we can scream along to and just let loose. I think they’ll be easy to sing together as a chorus.”
When asked about his most memorable moments with fans, he replied:
“Since I was on tour recently, I remember the times we sang together or did fan chants. On this tour, there was especially a dress code. I found it really impressive to check the fans’ outfits, share those images, and talk about them.”
He also said he would love to see lightsticks along the Han River, where the festival will take place:
“Even if we’re not inside a concert hall, a lightstick can serve as lighting in the darkness by the Han. If you have one, I can recognize you immediately.”
To the Babies coming to the ATA Festival, he sent this message:
“I have things I want to tell you directly on stage at the ATA Festival. So let’s meet on September 28 at the ATA!”
On the second day of the festival (Sunday, September 28), KIM JAE JOONG will perform alongside Newbeat, The Boyz, Badvillain, UnisS, Qwer, Cravity, TWS, 82Major, Fifty Fifty, Ha Sungwoon, among others. On the first day (Saturday, September 27), the Han River stage will feature Kim Junsu, Kyungseo, Park Hyewon, Say My Name, 10cm, Lee Mujin, Jannabi, Peppertones, H1-KEY, Hwang Garam, and more.
Thanks to its diverse and rich lineup, the ATA Festival is an event for everyone, young and old. In addition to K-pop concerts, attendees can experience the full range of Hallyu culture: K-food, K-beauty, K-fashion, and more.
Young people born in 2006, who reached the age of majority this year, can even attend the ATA Festival almost for free through the “Youth Culture and Arts Pass” implemented by the government. This program provides up to 150,000 won per year for tickets to shows and exhibitions. Since it can be used for concerts scheduled during the year, the ATA Festival is included among eligible events. More information is available on the “Youth Culture and Arts Pass” website (search for 청년문화예술패스).
