Singer SONG GA IN is announcing a new chapter in trot history as she launches a project with legendary seniors of the genre.
SONG GA IN will make her comeback on the 27th at 6 p.m. with her new single « 사랑의 맘보 (Mambo of Love) ». The song was specially written and composed by Seol Woondo, who gifted it to SONG GA IN. Set to an upbeat mambo rhythm, the drums heighten the festive atmosphere, while bright brass lines and playful synthesizer sounds bring freshness to this trot number.
Back in February, SONG GA IN created a sensation with « 눈물이 난다 (I Cry) », a track from her 4th studio album “가인;달“, gifted by Sim Soobong. It was the first time this legendary artist had ever given a song to a younger singer, which drew much attention.
Following that collaboration with Sim Soobong, SONG GA IN is now returning hand in hand with Seol Woondo. As the “Empress of Trot”, leading the second golden age of trot, this new partnership with a legend carries even deeper symbolic meaning.
