New teaser images for DAY6’s upcoming studio album, highlighting SUNGJIN’s modern vibe, have been revealed.
Ahead of the release of its fourth studio album “The DECADE” on September 5, DAY6 has been gradually unveiling a series of teaser content including a trailer, scheduler, tracklist, and track preview film. On the evening of the 20th, JYP Entertainment raised anticipation by revealing SUNGJIN’s teaser photo for the first time through the group’s official social media channels.
In the photos, SUNGJIN captures attention in an all-black semi-suit style, giving off a calm and composed aura. Under the sunlight streaming across the city streets, his chic gaze and strong charisma leave a powerful impression.
DAY6’s new album “The DECADE”, released in celebration of the group’s 10th debut anniversary, takes its name from the English word meaning “ten years.” The record will feature ten tracks in total, including the title track “꿈의 버스” and “Inside out”, as well as “해야 뜨지 말아 줘”, “Disco day“, “My way”, “별들 앞에서“, “Take all my heart”, “날아라! 드림라이더“, “드디어 끝나갑니다”, and “우리의 계절“. The members participated in writing and composing all of the songs, alongside long-time collaborator Hong Jisang, completing this special 10th anniversary album.
Before the album’s release, on August 30–31, DAY6 will hold a solo concert as part of its “DAY6 10th Anniversary Tour ‘The DECADE’” at the Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang City. This performance, which marks the very first solo appearance by a Korean band at the venue and sold out every seat, will be a meaningful way to celebrate its 10th anniversary with fans.
DAY6’s fourth full-length album “The DECADE” will be officially released on September 5 at 6 PM KST.
