ANITEEZ bring “Say my name” back to life in a particularly cute version.
On August 22nd, ATEEZ surprised its fans with the release of a special video for “Say my name“. This time, it’s not the members themselves who appear on screen, but their adorable animal alter egos: ANITEEZ.
In this special video, ANITEEZ land in the world of the original music video and decide to explore the surroundings. They come across iconic objects like the famous trumpet accompanied by a flag well-known to fans, before meeting the Halaniteez, dark and enigmatic counterparts, in homage to the group’s alter egos, Halateez. The video ends with ANITEEZ being transported to a new world, leaving the mystery surrounding a possible sequel.
The release of this video accompanies the announcement of a new pop-up store called “ANITEEZ IN THE CALLING“, which will be held from September 1st to 14th at the Hyundai Department Store in Sinchon, Seoul. This pop-up store follows the “ANITEEZ IN TREASURE” collection, inspired by the group’s debut album “TREASURE EP.1: ALL TO ZERO“, and “ANITEEZ IN ILLUSION“, inspired by the third album “TREASURE EP.3: ONE TO ALL“. This new collection appears to pay homage to ATEEZ‘s second album, “TREASURE EP.2: ZERO TO ONE“.
On the promotional poster for the pop-up store, JJOONGrami (HONGJOONG), DDEONGbyeoli (SEONGHWA), TYUdeongi (YUNHO), HETmongi (YEOSANG), SANdeoki (SAN), bbyongMING (MINGI), WOOYOnyang (WOOYOUNG), and JJONGbear (JONGHO) appear wearing costumes reminiscent of the performance “Answer: ode to joy“, a nod to the penultimate album in the series “TREASURE“.
At the pop-up store, ATINYs (fandom name) will be able to discover many exclusive products revealed this August 23rd on the ANITEEZ X account. Online to pre-order the items or offline, fans will be able to find ANITEEZ keychains, T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, bags, and several other products featuring the new collection.
Finally, ATEEZ will release its second Japanese album, “ASH TO LIGHT“, on September 17.
