The girl group YOUNG POSSE (영파씨) is officially beginning promotions for its follow-up track.
YOUNG POSSE (Sunhye, Yeonjung, Jiana, Doeun, and Jieun) will perform on SBS funE’s “The Show” on August 26, where they will showcase “YSSR,” a track from its 4th EP album, “Growing Pain pt.1: FREE.”
“YSSR,” short for “Yes, Sir,” conveys the group’s determination to confidently express its individuality, even when facing society’s sharp questions. Rather than conforming to others’ expectations, YOUNG POSSE responds boldly with a cool attitude: “YSSR! Got a problem?” The song combines a strong drum and bass foundation with a rage-style beat, and features straightforward lyrics that highlight their unshakable self-confidence.
After showing off their free-spirited and playful charm with the title track “Freestyle,” YOUNG POSSE now returns with a performance of “YSSR” that promises even greater charisma. Their styling—reflecting the evolution of these rising “K-hip-hop sisters” (국힙 언니쓰), is another element worth paying attention to. Fans can look forward to a dynamic blend of vocals and rap, showcasing each member’s unique tone and color.
