New individual concept photos of DAY6 members SUNGJIN and YOUNG K for their upcoming album have been revealed.
DAY6 will make its comeback on September 5 with the release of its fourth full-length album, “The DECADE”. Leading up to the release, the group has been sharing various promotional content on its official social media channels, including a trailer, schedule, tracklist, video snippet previews, as well as group and individual images. On the afternoon of August 25, teaser photos of SUNGJIN and YOUNG K were uploaded.
In these images, SUNGJIN and YOUNG K showcase a unique, quirky charm, posing against red and green backdrops, respectively. Props such as a guitar, microphone, and vinyl records highlight their personalities while also nodding to the current AI photo trend. Dice featured in their individual shots further spark curiosity about the album’s concept.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, DAY6 has titled the new album “The DECADE”, referencing the English term for “ten years.” Known as a “trusted band worth listening to,” they are raising expectations with their enriched musical style and, for the first time since their debut, two lead tracks: “꿈의 버스” and “Inside out“.
Additionally, on August 30 and 31, DAY6 will kick off its anniversary tour, “DAY6 10th Anniversary Tour <The DECADE>”, with two solo concerts at the Goyang Sports Complex Stadium in Goyang. This marks the first time a Korean rock band will hold a solo concert at this venue, and tickets are already sold out. These shows will be a memorable milestone in celebrating their decade-long journey with fans.
DAY6’s fourth full-length album, “The DECADE”, will be released on September 5 at 6 p.m. KST.
