CIX will be releasing its brand-new title track “니가 궁금해” (I’m curious about you), written and composed by member BX.
On August 30 at midnight KST, CIX (BX, Seunghun, Yonghee, Hyunsuk) unveiled the tracklist for its 8th mini album, “GO Chapter 1 : GO Together”, through its official social media channels.
According to the tracklist, the EP album will feature a total of four songs: the title track “니가 궁금해 (I’m curious about you)”, along with “S.O.S”, “Upstander”, and “환상 속의 그대” (To you in my fantasy).
Notably, leader and main rapper BX took part in writing and composing “니가 궁금해”, as well as writing “S.O.S” and “Upstander”, weaving CIX’s unique musical identity deeply into the album. BX had previously contributed to the composition of several songs on CIX’s first full-length album “‘OK’ Prologue : Be OK” (“Off my mind”, “20살 “(20 Years Old), “고해 “), but this marks his first credit as a lyricist. Fans are highly anticipating the stories he will unfold through these new tracks.
The song titles themselves also hint at CIX’s signature storytelling. In particular, the third track “Upstander” contrasts directly with “Bystander”, a track from its second EP “‘HELLO’ Chapter 2. Hello, Strange Place”, creating even more curiosity around its message.
For this project, CIX collaborated with a lineup of renowned producers such as KZ, Kim Taeyoung, DINT, MLC, and danke, who have all worked with the group on past projects, further enhancing the quality of the album.
Additionally, through the “Stellar Story” narrative script released on August 28, CIX heightened expectations by showcasing strong storytelling. Having solidified its musical color with the “HELLO” and “OK” series since debut, the group is expected to showcase both growth and a new evolution with “GO Chapter 1 : GO Together”.
CIX’s 8th mini album, “GO Chapter 1 : GO Together”, the first installment of their new “GO” series, will be released on September 8 at 6 PM KST across major streaming platforms.
