Singer HENRY is set to unveil his first new release of the year.
On September 4 at 6 PM (KST), HENRY will drop his new single “CLOSER TO YOU” on various music streaming platforms.
The release was announced on August 31 through the artist’s official social media channels, along with a first teaser. HENRY shared his excitement about the long-awaited comeback with the message:
“Can’t wait for you to finally hear it… stay tuned!!!”
The teaser video quickly captured attention with its artistic visuals, showing HENRY riding a bicycle under a starry night sky in a dreamy scene. It also features a snippet of the lyrics:
“Throw the world at your feet. So bittersweet. Like sour candy cream. Tell me what you need. I’ll take the lead. Oh, you know I will.”
“CLOSER TO YOU” marks HENRY’s first single in about nine months, following the release of “Hypnotized” last December. With its gentle rhythm and modern pop sound, the track highlights HENRY’s signature vocal sensitivity and refined production.
Even from the short teaser, the song hints at a smooth and sophisticated groove. With this new release, HENRY continues to expand his musical world with a renewed emotional depth.
Earlier this year, HENRY appeared on KBS2’s music variety show “I am a singer”, in both the Spain and Germany editions. He remains active across various entertainment programs, solidifying his image as a “musical genius”, and frequently shares his live energy with global audiences at music festivals around the world.
