What if a project involving ATEEZ and its famous ANITEEZ became a reality with the LEGO brick brand?
Indeed, since 2024, on the LEGO website, a person named “artistnameseven” launched a project on “LEGO IDEAS” to create a LEGO set specifically dedicated to the K-pop group ATEEZ and its characters, the ANITEEZ.
One of the important things the creator of this project had to respect were the rules set by LEGO. As explained in their description, they had to make modifications, rework visuals, adjust sizes, and more to make everything fit properly. In addition, they proposed a kind of “innovation” to LEGO, so that LEGO and the ANITEEZ universe could find a true symbiosis while respecting each other’s worlds.
The first step of this project, after all the modifications, was to gain the support of at least 10,000 people so that LEGO would take a closer look at the project. Needless to say, that number of supporters has already been reached.
After reaching these 10,000 supporters, the “ATEEZ – ANITEEZ Sail Boat Set” project moves into a second phase called “Review”, during which LEGO designers will check if all LEGO criteria are met and whether any changes are needed. This is especially important because LEGO is originally intended for children, so they need to ensure the set’s “playability” or determine if it’s suitable for another audience.
This phase began this month and can last several months, as nothing can be left to chance. After this phase, LEGO will give its approval—or not—for the next phase.
Now, if the “Review” phase is successfully completed, the product will enter the “Development” phase. During this period, LEGO designers will refine the product and prepare it for release, create all product materials (box, instructions, marketing), and get everything ready for production. This stage can also take several months.
Will this project be fully approved by LEGO? Will the group ATEEZ and its agency KQ Entertainment see the enthusiasm for this product? Will the brand and the agency also find a positive basis for negotiation, since that will also come into play?
