The group NEWJEANS maintains unwavering popularity. NEWJEANS’ single “Eta“ surpassed 400 million streams on the world’s largest music platform, Spotify.
According to ADOR, the group’s agency, “Eta“ had 400,130,227 streams as of October 5. This makes “Eta“ the seventh track by NEWJEANS to exceed 400 million streams.
“Eta“, one of the three main tracks from the second mini-album “NEWJEANS”, combines a powerful, fast-paced rhythm with Favela Funk.
Since its release in July 2023, “Eta“ immediately topped South Korean music charts, holding the first and second positions along with the other lead track “Super shy“, and entered the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, achieving huge success. Its dynamic performance, blending hip-hop dance with club dance moves, was also highly praised.
Additionally, NEWJEANS currently has 15 songs that have surpassed one billion streams on Spotify. “Omg“ and “Ditto“ have been played over 800 million times, “Super shy“ and “Hype boy“ over 700 million times, while “Attention“ reached 500 million streams.
