JEONG YEIN from LOVELYZ returns with a new song full of emotion and refined sensitivity, inspired by the aesthetic of the 1990s.

On October 9 at 6 PM KST, JEONG YEIN will release on major music platforms the fifth single of the “90’S RECORD PROJECT”, titled “우리가 서로 사랑했음을” (we loved each other).
The “90’S RECORD PROJECT”, in which JEONG YEIN participates this time as the main vocalist, is a music series that reinterprets the unique sentiment of 1990s music in a contemporary way. As the fifth artist in the project, JEONG YEIN reveals a new facet of her musical maturity.
The single “우리가 서로 사랑했음을” faithfully recreates the signature sound of the 1990s, providing an immersive experience as if the listener is traveling back in time to that musical era. Its lyrical content, like a short film, evokes nostalgic memories and emotions, while JEONG YEIN’s clear, subtly melancholic voice amplifies the emotional depth of the track, touching listeners’ hearts.
The cover image, released alongside the announcement, features a warm, colorful arrangement of 1990s-inspired items, photo film, Lego, paper clips, dolls, evoking nostalgia for those who lived through that era.
This single marks a significant milestone, reviving the emotional essence of 1990s Korean R&B and ballads through JEONG YEIN’s vocal finesse and sensitivity.
The new song “우리가 서로 사랑했음을“, showcasing JEONG YEIN’s emotive voice with sweetness and sincerity, will be available today at 6 PM KST on all music platforms. In addition, JEONG YEIN will hold her very first solo concert “2025 YEIN 1ST SOLO CONCERT IN THE FRAME” on November 29 and 30, where she will reunite with her fans.
