This project is particularly noteworthy because it results from a collaboration between OA ENTERTAINMENT and global tech giant Meta. For the first time ever, a Korean typeface has been officially integrated into Instagram’s short video editing app, “Edits”, marking a historic milestone.
“ZEN SERIF” stands out by combining the elegance of traditional Korean characters with the sophistication of modern serif fonts. Designed to balance readability and visual beauty, it is expected to be widely used in various content creation environments.
Since October 9, all users of the “Edits” app worldwide can freely use the “ZEN SERIF” typeface. This integration is a symbolic moment: Hangul is now more accessible than ever on a global platform, giving creators around the world the ability to design content featuring Korean writing.
